Hi girl! Dealing with acne has been a part of my life since puberty, thanks to my combination of oily and acne-prone skin. I’ve spent years trying out different routines, searching for the right mix that truly works for me.


Now, I finally have a skincare routine that keeps my skin balanced, calm, and happy. Let me walk you through my current steps—maybe it'll help you find something that suits your skin too!


Step 1: Gentle Cleansing


Starting with a clean face is a must. I alternate between two face washes depending on the time of day. In the morning, I go for Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, which is light, hydrating, and suitable for all skin types. At night, I switch to The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser—it feels extra soft and nourishing after a long day.


Step 2: Hydrating Serums


Once my face is clean and gently patted dry with a tissue, I move on to serums. I use two types: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid in the morning for deep hydration, and The Ordinary Niacinamide at night to help calm any inflammation and support my skin’s healing process.


Step 3: Targeted Acne Treatment


If I have a breakout or a stubborn pimple, I apply Oxy 10 Acne Spot Treatment directly on the affected area. It works fast, but can be drying—so I make sure to follow up with a good moisturizer to prevent irritation.


Step 4: Locking It In with Moisturizer


Moisturizing is key! It seals in all the goodness from the previous steps. I rotate between three favorite moisturizers depending on how my skin feels—whether it's dry, oily, or in between.


CeraVe SA Lotion (with salicylic acid) when my skin is oily or breakout-prone—it’s lightweight but still hydrating.


CeraVe Moisturizing Cream (the classic tub) for dry days or nighttime—it’s thick and deeply nourishing. The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA when my skin feels balanced—it’s a simple, silicone-free formula that layers well under sunscreen.


This flexibility helps me respond to what my skin needs that day.
