Boromo Tengger Semeru National Park covers an area of approximately 800 square kilometres and is the largest volcanic area in East Java.

In this park you can explore the inhospitable Tengger Crater, Boromo Volcano and Semeru Volcano.

At 2,393 metres above sea level, with a crater measuring 1,000 metres in diameter from north to south and surrounded by landscapes like the surface of the moon, Boromo is one of Indonesia's most spectacular landscapes.

It has been said: "If you can't travel to the moon, then go to Borama Volcano in Indonesia and experience it!".

The structure of Borama Volcano is very peculiar, being a large volcano over a small one.

The huge outer volcano is Tengger, which was formed 820,000 years ago.

This area has changed five times over the years and at its highest point, at 4,500 metres above sea level.

It is the highest peak in Java. After the collapse of Gutengger, a huge outer crater was formed, which is quite spectacular.

The most spectacular view of Brahma Volcano is the sunrise.

You will feel the wonder and magic of nature as the rising red sun intertwines with the surrounding landscape to create a colourful world.

Meanwhile, in the distance, the Semeru volcano spews out white pillars of smoke every ten minutes or so, which, together with the beautiful colourful sunset and the sea of white clouds, makes for a beautiful view of a fairy mountain.

Semeru is the highest volcano on Java, rising to 3,676 metres above sea level.

If the weather is clear, you can see both the Indian Ocean and the Java Sea from the top of the mountain.

Semeru is not only a sacred mountain to Hindus, it is also the father of Bali's Agung volcano.

It is an active volcano, with 55 recorded eruptions since 1818, the most recent one in 2012.

In Indonesia, there are other beauties besides volcanoes.

Lombok, for example, is a beautiful Indonesian island located east of Bali.

Famous for its white sandy beaches and surfing, the island covers a total area of 5,435 square kilometres, with turquoise blue waters and spectacular views of an active volcano that attracts countless climbers every year.

Secondly, there is Jimbaran Beach, a long, narrow beach located south of Bali Airport, famous for its spectacular sunsets over the sea and rated as one of the top ten most beautiful sunsets in the world.

As well as sunsets, Jimbaran Beach is also home to a number of alfresco seafood stalls in the evening.

The beach has been well preserved and the warmth and simplicity of the villagers make the beach very approachable.
